  1. Purchased these two hand-painted icons from Afrotide Crafts, a warm and cozy shop at Latitude 0 Hotel in Uganda. Great service by the people at Afrotide, who care about the items they sell.

  2. During my trip to Uganda I stayed one night in the Latitude Zero hotel and I was attracted by the internal shop where a multitude of high-quality local handicraft objects are on display. In particular I appreciated a series of paintings on wild animal subjects which I then saw on the safaris of the following days. Once back in Italy I wanted to have one of those paintings in the living room to remember an unforgettable trip, so I was put in contact with Dorina and I purchased a truly exciting elephant subject. The use of colors goes very well with our home. Dorina organized the shipping and I received it in a few days. My wife and I were very satisfied with both the painting and Dorina’s courtesy and we will certainly purchase more from her in the future.
